Comfort Keepers Win Deloitte Best Managed Companies Award

award trophy for awards

Running a Home Care company doesn’t just involve ensuring that the best home carers are employed. It also means ensuring that those professional home carers are supported, that their questions or concerns are addressed by their client care managers, that training is provided, that bereavement counselling is provided, that clients receive regular reviews, that managers meet with the clients or their families on a regular basis, that bills and wages are paid, that there are investments made in training and in technology and so the list goes on.

Successful businesses also require investment in technology as well as investment in the right people. They need to commit to developing leaders of the future as well as concentrating on their customers.

Providing home care is an extremely rewarding profession, caring usually for older people who need some help to maintain their independent living, it is an occupation that demands physical fitness, intuition and kindness. Many carers say they get so much back from their clients that they see them as friends or almost one of their family. At Comfort Keepers, we work hard to support our carers in their roles. Not only are the support teams at the end of the phone but we also organise regular coffee mornings for our carers so they can get to know others in the vicinity.

If you would like to work for an award winning Home Care company, do get in touch via our careers page. We currently have many vacancies across our seventeen offices in Ireland.
