Our new Employee Assistance Programme

September 29th saw the launch of a new and improved Employee Assistance Programme for staff of Comfort Keepers, provided by Laya Healthcare. An Employee Assistance Programme is a service which aims to provide practical advice and support to employees of a company and their family members. Comfort Keepers strive to look after and provide for their staff in any way that will help them to fulfil their potential both professionally and personally. The Employee Assistance Programme is run externally by Laya Healthcare and is entirely free of charge to those who use it.

The launch event was attended by office staff of Comfort Keepers nationwide, Marie Kelly from Laya and some local carers. A great afternoon was had by all with plenty of sweet treats and refreshments – even some Comfort Keepers and Laya branded cupcakes!

Laya Healthcare’s Employee Assistance Programme is a completely free and confidential programme that provides staff and their family members with immediate help and support in managing whatever work or personal issues they are facing. Laya Healthcare’s service provides access to a nationwide network of fully qualified, accredited and experienced clinical counsellors, for immediate information and support. They also have a team of experts in a variety of fields, including financial advisors, legal professionals, career counsellors and more, to help with everyday questions. The service can be accessed quickly and easily by phone, through our website layaeap.ie, via live chat, or through a specially designed app 24 hours, 7 days a week.
