Comfort Keepers is going ploughing! Well, not literally ploughing, but we are at the Ploughing Championships in Co. Laois this week. As the number of clients requiring quality homecare from us are increasing in number, we are using this opportunity to chat to those of you interested in homecare but perhaps you’re not quite sure what it involves in terms of time, duties and training.
We have a number of staff from our Human Resources department at Block 1, Row 26, Stand 435 so there’s plenty of people and lots of time to answer your queries and show you what a typical day would be like. We’ll be able to tell you if there are vacancies in your location, how many hours of work would be available, and what training you may need to do (depending on your existing qualifications). We’ll explain how Comfort Keepers subsidises the cost of the training towards a healthcare qualification. If you are looking for part-time work (perhaps because you want to work around school-going children, other responsibilities or college), we’ll be able to chat to you about that too.

Comfort Keepers Home Care are looking for the right staff. We’re all getting older and someday each of us might need a carer. We’re looking for staff that understand the need for quality home care, who are prepared to look after their clients as if they were their own family and we want to show you what that involves. If you are interested in finding out more and you’re at the Ploughing, do call along to Row 26, Row 435 in the Dunamaise Tent. What’s more – you have a chance of winning a mini iPad too.
